Responsibilities:

Prepare insurance quotes and sell, upsell and/or cross sell insurance policies

Accurately read and interpret Hits, MVR and Autoplus reports

Upload policies on insurance company’s portals

Provide an exceptional customer experience at every interaction

Set up pre-authorized payments and document claims information on files

Qualifications:

A RIBO license in good standing is a must. Working towards CAIB and/or CIP is a bonus

Min 1-3 years past experience in a brokerage as a CSR, Producer, TSR or Processing staff or Underwriter

University or College degree is a plus

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

Strong time management skills and attention to detail

Our Client a large insurance brokerage located in Scarborough is seeking a Senior commercial lines Account Manager

Works with the Sales Executives, acting as key contact for Commercial clients and provides customer service for an established book of Commercial Accounts. Responsible for advising on insurance matters; conducting needs assessment, recommending solutions and answering inquiries. Liaise with clients for day-to-day administration of insurance program. Alert the Sales Executive and team to issues requiring action or communication with the client.

Pre-renewal package prepared 90 days in advance

Responsible for obtaining any outstanding or addition information from client

Review submission and submit to marketing with instructions

Review terms and renewal package with Sales Executive

Summarize marketing results for presentation to client

Delivery of renewal terms to Sales Executive or to client 30 days prior to renewal

Invoicing and collection of premiums

NEW BUSINESS

Ensures that consent to use information from potential new client has been obtained

Review prospects current program, advise on coverage gaps and discuss with Sales Executive

Meet with Sales Executive and design a comprehensive insurance program utilizing insurance placement and risk management

Prepare submission for marketing

Negotiate payment terms with client

Preparation of proposal for client, reviewing documents from companies for accuracy and proper coveragesO

Qualifications

5 + years of experience

RIBO License

Good to excellent working knowledge of Excel

Good written and verbal communication skills

Knowledge of TAM would be an asset

Our Client a multi line Brokerage firm with H/O in Toronto as well as several other Branches in southwestern Ontario as well as Northeast areas. Responsibilities:

The commercial lines account management team’s main purpose is to design, secure, and deliver the best insurance program and professional expertise for our wide range of clients, in small, mid- size, and large accounts.

The account manager will work on an assigned book and liaise with our clients and producers to assess client risk exposures and insurance needs including:

• identifying coverage gaps

    • upselling & cross-selling

    • preparing marketing submissions

    • preparing binders

    • preparing proposals

    • coordinating with our insuring partners.

Qualifications:

 RIBO license, active and in good standing is required

• 7-10 years Commercial Lines brokerage experience

• Experience in Commercial Surety (POA)

• Strong technical insurance knowledge in placement of all classes of insurance including specialty products and placement for mid-large multi-line accounts ranging from niche and $50,000 to $1million, as well as US and International risks

• Some knowledge of specialty products a/o segment needs would be an asset (eg. Cyber, D&O, E&O, etc.)

• Other industry qualifications such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc., would be considered an asset
