Responsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This position involves working as a Commercial Account Manager on a diverse commercial insurance book of business
in both servicing and marketing of existing accounts and new business accounts. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Manage small to mid-size commercial accounts
\uf0b7 Negotiate coverages, rates and premiums with underwriters and clients
\uf0b7 Market new and existing business
\uf0b7 Prepare renewal reviews including Outstanding Recommendations, Claims Review, and Additional Coverage(s)
\uf0b7 Review client risk and preparing comprehensive coverages for specific client needs
\uf0b7 Work closely with claims department to monitor losses and develop risk management techniques for clients
\uf0b7 Manage own abeyances
\uf0b7 Manage accounts receivable
\uf0b7 Perform other related duties and projects, as required<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Experience managing a book of business from start to finish<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in commercial lines within a Brokerage<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Effective verbal and written communication skills
\uf0b7 Excellent organizational and time management abilities
\uf0b7 Self-motivation with ability to problem-solve with limited supervision
\uf0b7 Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with changing priorities
\uf0b7 Ability to work independently and as a team member
\uf0b7 Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint<\/p>\n\n\n\n
